He led a great session before we got into small-sided games and from that moment on, I have trained with Luke during every off-season to prepare myself for MLS pre-seasons. Although I don’t get to train with him often, I enjoy being able to talk about my goals for the year and adjustments I want to make to my game in order to elevate my performance heading into the new season. As goalkeepers, we are constantly learning and adapting to different scenarios. Training with Luke allows me to try new techniques and hear new perspectives on different scenarios. This allows me to see what works best for me and what doesn’t in a time where trial and error is okay. I’m very appreciative of Luke for being able to design sessions that cater to my needs at the time, while surrounding me with other top goalies in the area that allows us to have a quality session.
