“During the past year, I have had the opportunity to work with Luke on a weekly basis. Not only have I seen tremendous advancement in my play, but also his connections and relationships within the soccer community have opened numerous doors for me in my pursuit of a career in the sport. He is highly qualified and knowledgeable in his teachings gained from the experience of playing professionally in a competitive environment very early on in his career. Luke provides professional oriented goalkeeper training in a scarce market, he is one of few individuals capable of taking goalkeepers to the next level in Canada. My timely experience with him has been extremely beneficial in all aspects of my game and truly enjoyable.”

“Lucas has helped push and guide me into becoming the best goalkeeper that I can be. I was introduced to Lucas through Blue Devils FC. As a goalkeeper, I struggled and lacked in technical ability. Lucas recognized my weak areas as a goalkeeper and worked with me day in and day out to get me into the best shape possible. With the goal set in my mind to play University soccer, Lucas was able to get me prepared through game realistic drills. Lucas’ attention to detail and expectations always pushed me to keep getting better in order to get that perfect set and be a stand out keeper. The standard at his sessions are unmatched and he is further changing the standards of goalkeeping in Canada for the better.”

“Lucas has made me the best goalkeepers that I can be today. Since day one he has pushed me and helped me improve. He sees me as an individual and takes the time to correct my mistakes. If I have a question, he has an answer. He is very supportive as a goalie coach and has taught me many good habits that I plan on continuing to strengthen those habits when I’m in university. I always look forward to coming to Lucas’s practice and giving a 100%!”

“Luke Birnstingl is a complete goalkeeper trainer. I was first introduced to Luke through a mutual friend, who is a professional goalkeeper, and immediately I took note of his professionalism and expertise at training. He’s punctual, arriving early to prepare the field for the session, he always comes with a session plan that is tailored to your specific needs, and he holds strong standards with all the goalkeepers he works with. Because Luke has played professionally in the Scottish first division, as well as for Toronto FC II, he knows the level that his goalkeepers are trying to reach and has the ability to give them all the tools they need to get there. Luke’s technical ability on the ball is very high and he is able to use that to offer high level service that will prepare his keepers for the professional game. Luke cultivates a high-intensity environment that really pushes his goalkeepers to get better. He emphasizes the importance of positive goalkeeping in training, and this is the aspect of Luke’s training that I have found most beneficial during my time working with him. Luke’s knowledge of the game and the goalkeeper position is very high. I’ve come to him with many different questions ranging from technical mistakes to specific game scenario solutions and he has always been able to help me understand and grow as a goalkeeper. Luke Birnstingl is a top class goalkeeper trainer who will give you the tools to get you to the level that you want to be at.”
